Introduction to Light & Lighting

Light is the key to photography. Understanding lighting makes a photographer uniquely creative. This class introduces you to different types of lighting and how they can be used to create more beautiful photographs. Do you know what the "golden hour" is and how to use it to create eye-catching images? How about fireworks or the neon lights? Ever end up with snow scenes looking blue? Learn how to use natural and artificial lighting to enhance your images. Time is spent on the basics of white balance, flash photography and using tungsten or strobe lights in a home studio. This class will cover a multitude of different types of lighting you will find in everyday situations.

After the class all attendees will be sent a link to download a color pdf handout with the slides from the presentation.
