Creating Repetition with Reflections

While photographing at the Holocaust Memorial Museum I spotted this reflection. The light was coming through the opening to the right and lighting up the wall and beam behind me. It seems like there is a connection between the beam in the reflection and the one on the right. As I was setting up the shot the sunlit area moved a little as the sun moved through the sky. Seeing this movement I waited for the alignment of the spotlight and the T shape of the beam and support post. I especially like how the reflection has a textured appearance; nothing special was done that's how the reflection looked on the wall. It makes me think of two separate mediums. The reflection reminds me of a painting, and the right half is the photographic representation.
